Exciting Times Ahead!

A blank board game board can only mean one thing… WE’RE BACK IN THE WORKSHOP!

We believe in the magic of play and the power it holds in fostering emotional and social development among children. Our mission has always been to create engaging, educational, and heartfelt games that bring families together, nurturing connections and understanding through play.

Today, we are thrilled to share a glimpse into the future of our playful little world—where a new game is quietly brewing, promising to add a sprinkle of excitement to our already magical collection.

A New Chapter

As we continue to innovate and expand our universe, our team is hard at work crafting a new experience that is rooted in our core values of promoting emotional wellbeing and resilience, blending these essential elements with an adventurous spirit.

Whilst we can't reveal too many details just yet, we can promise you that this upcoming game will stay true to our tradition of integrating fun with meaningful learning. Expect a game packed full of maximum fun, a bit of mayhem and a lot of meaningful play.

Behind the Scenes: Crafting Magic

Whilst what we develop tends to be educational, creating a new game for us starts at it’s playability. We’ve studied the best of the best card and board games out there to see what people love, and exploring ways to integrate it into the Beasties’ world.

We already know that the Minotaur will play a leading role in this game, which can only mean that the chase is on (if you know you know).

Our team of designers, psychologists, and educators are collaborating tirelessly, drawing from their vast expertise and passion for children's mental health and development, toy and game  design and play. Each element of the game is considered to ensure it not only entertains but also supports the emotional growth of our young players, without it feeling forced.

The process will involve extensive research, numerous brainstorming sessions, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.

From the initial concept to the final product, each step is taken with care, ensuring that the game aligns with our mission and exceeds the expectations of the BoB community.

What to Expect?

While we are keeping the specifics under wraps, we can tease that the new game will introduce unique mechanics that encourage cooperation and self-expression. Each player will be playing as two people at once, and are beholden to various mysterious doors that they come across…

EEKK! We’ve said too much.

If you would like to be part of our new development journey, as a play tester, focus group member, advisor, designer - or if you think you’d bring something wonderful to the table, then get in touch through the website.
