Just a quick note to wish you all a very happy holidays.
You’ve all been absolute heroes this year and you deserve this break. Even if the new COVID restrictions have scuppered your plans, it’s still a chance to switch off and relax.
Next year is going to be a different kind of tough, but nothing we can’t handle and Book of Beasties is dedicated to supporting and maintaining your children’s, and student’s mental wellbeing above all else.
We have some big plans for 2021, all of which include working towards creating a happier future in the most creative, playful, mindful and Beastie’ful way imaginable.
Join the Fever Folk on an aquatic adventure where they discover a whole new universe of creatures… and plastic. Find out the importance of being mindful of what we put in our body, learn that it is never too late to try something new, create a plastic bottle herb garden and much more.
The next Playful Minds Talk and Play day is on Friday 22nd January where we encourage families to get together to play their favourite game and take the time to talk to each about their day, their plans and their mental health. As usual those that join in and share their pictures with us using the hashtag #TalkandPlay are in with a chance of winning a copy of our mental wellness card game.
We are hosting our next virtual workshop on Thursday 4th February at 4pm. If you would like to join then send us an email to info@bookofbeasties.com. These workshops are £30 per person or completely free to our subscribers and customers. Find out all about Book of Beasties: The Mental Wellness Card Game and how we are changing the way children think about their mental health forever.
For this year’s Place2Be Children’s Mental Health Week the theme is “Express Yourself”. Although every week is Children’s Mental Health Week for the Beasties, we have something special planned and will be announcing something BIG. So watch this space.
Lastly if you are looking for some free festive activities for your children over the holidays then we’ve got some great mindfulness activity sheets, stories and more on our site. Jump on over to the Mindful Beginner platform and check it our.
From all of us at Book of Beasties, we wish you a very Merry Christmas, and a wonderful New Year.
