Wellbeing Ambassador for the IoD joins Book of Beasties as CEO

Book of Beasties is delighted to introduce Craig Fearn, a globally recognised Mental Health & Wellbeing board member, Global Wellbeing Sustainability Expert and theWellbeing Ambassador for the Institute of Directors, as our new Chief Executive.

Craig, who graduated from Plymouth University with PGCE and Social Sciences degrees, has dedicated his working life to the mental health and wellbeing sectors.

He co-founded Wellbeings Games in 2018, a developer of wellbeing and e-Health apps before joining Business Mental Wellbeing as Chief Executive and moving into wellbeing advisory roles for Edrington UK, Soho House and most recently the Institute of Directors.

His own consultancy, Lighthouse Mentoring helps shape business strategies and vision to launch Mental Wellbeing Consultancy to enhance mental health and wellbeing support to university students with Disabled Student Allowance funding and private clients.

Craig brings a dedication to the improvement of child mental health through playful methods of education along with a wonderful imagination and vision, that matches Book of Beasties ambitions to reach children and young people around the world with the Beasties’ world of wellbeing.

Craig commented: “For a while I have been looking for my next project. One that fits with my values and ethics. Book of Beasties was the first thing in a while that I can honestly say excited me in the world of mental wellbeing.

“It is new and fresh and not just trying to repackage the same stuff over and over again and call it something new. How many times in your life are you asked to be part of something that changes lives! You just can’t pass up those opportunities.”
